We improve the quality of our nation’s future skilled workforce through the development of SkillsUSA Framework skills that include personal, workplace and technical skills grounded in academics. Our vision is to produce the most highly skilled workforce in the world, providing every member the opportunity for career success.

SkillsUSA Motto

Preparing for leadership in the world of work.

SkillsUSA offers a variety of competitions for Graphic Design students. The students pictured are training for the district vinyl sign competition. They will compete with many local schools to earn the opportunity to go to the state competition. If they are successful at the state level, they will then participate at the national competition in Louisville, Kentucky.

SkillsUSA prepares students for the “real world” through hands-on competition. They compete against other chapters at local, district and state levels and possibly compete at the SkillsUSA National competition. The events are based on the area a student is training in, so whether that’s Graphic Arts, Construction Technology, Automotive Technology or Welding Technology there is an area for you to compete in.
